Public Rites Set for Singer Andy Russell

A public memorial service for vocalist Andy Russell--who died Thursday in Phoenix--will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at St. Juliana’s Catholic Church in Fullerton. Russell, who became famous for his Spanish-English versions of such post-World War II songs as “Amor” and “Laughing on the Outside (Crying on the Inside)” was 72 when he died of complications after a stroke.
