MAPUTO, Mozambique — A stranded tanker spilled an estimated 1 million gallons of oil near Mozambique’s coast in the country’s worst environmental disaster, the national news agency reported Monday.
Fuel oil from the Greek-owned Katina P already has begun washing onto beaches and drifting into Maputo Bay.
