Caltrans Work Sites Scheduled

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Westbound connector to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

2. Los Angeles: Northbound connector to the eastbound and westbound Pomona Freeway (60); 6 to 11 a.m. today; graffiti cleaning.

3. South Gate: Southbound No. 4 lane from Firestone Boulevard to the Los Angeles River crossing; 6 a.m. to noon today; graffiti cleaning.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

4. East Los Angeles: Eastbound No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes from Dangler Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; mudjacking.

5. Montebello: Eastbound No. 1 lane from San Gabriel Boulevard to Rosemead Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; glare screen repair.

6. South El Monte: Westbound No. 1 lane from Peck Road to Santa Anita Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; jersey wall repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

7. Industry: Rose Hills Road on-ramp to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to noon today; mudjacking.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

8. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 4 lane from the Eastern Avenue off-ramp to the Downey Road on-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

9. Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane from the Orr & Day Road on-ramp to the Imperial Highway off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (47)

10. San Pedro: Southbound No. 1 lane at the Vincent Thomas Bridge; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; bridge repair.
