Pierce to Stage Volleyball Event

Pierce College will play host to the Southern regional of the men’s state junior college volleyball tournament Tuesday.
Pierce will play Grossmont at 10 a.m. and Irvine Valley will play El Camino at 1 p.m. The winners will meet at 7 for a berth in the state finals.
Three teams from the Southern region--Long Beach City, Orange Coast and De Anza--already have qualified for the state finals by winning conference titles.
