The Execution of Harris

Whether or not you believe in the death penalty, I think everyone would agree that the flurry of stays issued and rejected in the hours and minutes before Harris’ execution was the only thing cruel and unusual about the punishment. Didn’t the ACLU and its coven of sympathetic judges have 14 years to hear these same arguments?
