A Deal for J.R.: Southfork Ranch, the spread outside of Dallas that became famous as the home of the Ewing clan on “Dallas,” will be sold at auction May 30. Southfork has a mansion, convention center, corporate offices and thoroughbred breeding and training facilities on its 41 acres. In recent years it was licensed by Lorimar Television as a tourist attraction. The firm tapped to handle the auction says it will be sold to the highest bidder, “regardless of price.”
