SDSU Business School to Hold Annual Lunch

The San Diego State University College of Business Administration will hold its annual Business Leaders-Faculty Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the San Diego Marriott.
The luncheon, the department’s chief fund-raising event of the year, is an opportunity for local SDSU alumni and business leaders to demonstrate support for the university, which has been hit hard by state budget cuts.
This year’s luncheon speaker is Steven M. Bornstein, president and chief executive of the ESPN sports cable TV network.
Bornstein is the driving force behind the network’s broadcasts of the America’s Cup yachting races.
Proceeds from the lunch go toward purchasing computers and other capital equipment and to support faculty research, an SDSU spokeswoman said.
Cost is $50 per person. For reservations, call 594-6437.
