Tandon to Sell Computers Through Sam’s Wholesale

Tandon Corp. of Moorpark said it has reached an agreement to sell personal computers through Sam’s Wholesale Club, a warehouse chain with about 220 outlets. Sam’s is owned by Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Under the agreement, Sam’s will be the exclusive warehouse club distributor of a line of modular computers marketed by PC Brand Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tandon. Shipments to Sam’s will begin this month.
