Woods Wins Junior Golf Tournament

TEMPE, Ariz. — Tiger Woods of Cypress shot a final round three-under-par 69 Sunday to win the boys’ 15- to 18-year-old division of the American Junior Golf Assn. PING Phoenix Junior Championship.
Woods completed the two rounds with a six-under-par 138, three strokes ahead of Michael Jones of Mesa, Ariz. Woods trailed Greg Robertson by two strokes heading into the final round, but Robertson, of Roswell, N.M., shot a three-over-par 75 and finished tied for third, four strokes behind Woods.
Ben Garner of Lake Forest finished in a five-way tie for 25th at 153.
Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza was fifth in the girls’ division with a seven-over-par 151, five shots behind Emilee Klein of Studio City. Eunice Choi of Laguna Hills finished in 17th with a 167.
