VENTURA : Nighttime Burglars Who Broke Into 6 Homes Sought
- Share via
Ventura police are searching for burglars who broke into six residences in east Ventura late Friday night or early Saturday morning while the residents were sleeping, authorities said.
Residents of six houses in the Woodside Cottage neighborhood near Telephone Road and Jasper Street called police Saturday morning to report that their houses had been broken into during the night, Desk Officer Patricia Chapa said.
Several of the victims had wallets and purses stolen, she said.
Officers believe that all the burglaries were committed by the same people because they showed “the same M.O.,” Chapa said.
The burglars entered all the homes either through windows or garage doors, she said.
None of the victims were awakened by the intruders, she said.
Police have no suspects in the incidents.
