NEW HOPE: L.A. attorney Albro Lundy III speaks at today’s services at El Toro Memorial Park and says this year is special. His father, Air Force Maj. Albro L. Lundy Jr., was shot down over Laos 22 years ago. But now, despite the U.S. government’s misgivings, the son is convinced that a controversial photo of him outside a North Vietnamese prison camp proves he’s still alive. “It’s given Memorial Day new meaning to me,” Lundy says.
