Authorities identified the body Tuesday of an Irvine man found dead in a vacant lot behind a restaurant in Lancaster, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.
Charles Kalajian, 34, apparently died of head trauma, coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said, but an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death was scheduled for today.
It was not clear how long Kalajian’s body was in the field behind the Buffalo Club in the 44200 block of Division Street, Carrier said. The body was discovered about 8:30 a.m. Monday by a passerby.
