Home Loan Delinquencies Drop: Mortgage loan delinquencies fell in the first quarter and are expected to drop further in the second, the Mortgage Bankers Assn. said. The association said 4.52% of mortgages were delinquent the first quarter, 0.26% fewer than in the fourth quarter of 1991. The trade group said the first-quarter decline--the third in a row--was a reflection of an improving economy and a decline in mortgage interest rates.
