Felony charges were filed Tuesday against three men in connection with a series of motor home break-ins at a campground in Castaic, authorities said.
Alvin Moore, 19, and Jon Follingstad, 19, both of Glendale, were charged with three counts of burglary from a motor vehicle and one count of grand theft of a firearm, Los Angeles County Deputy Dist. Atty. Pamela Springer said.
Both pleaded not guilty during an arraignment in Municipal Court in Newhall, a court spokeswoman said.
Moore and Follingstad were being held at Men’s Central Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail each, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said.
Jason Zadoorian, 19, of Glendale was charged with one count of receiving stolen property.
He had been booked and released.
Cases against two 16-year-olds also arrested were scheduled to be presented to the district attorney’s juvenile office, she said.
The break-ins occurred between noon May 20 and the early morning hours of May 21 at Travel Village, a campground in the 27000 block of Henry Mayo Newhall Road, Lt. Barbara Persten said.
The burglars took personal items from 18 motor homes that were parked in a storage area at the campground, Persten said.
A search warrant was issued Friday for the arrest of the Castaic teen-ager.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the other teen-ager and the three adults, authorities said.
