Mall Reaches Final

Anne Mall of Laguna Niguel beat Nicole Elliott of Dana Point in the semifinals of the girls’ 18 division of the Southern California junior sectional championships Sunday at Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club in Fountain Valley.

Mall won, 6-2, 6-3, and advances to play Stacey Jellen at 11 a.m. today for the championship. Jellen, of Calabasas, beat Ania Bleszynski of Thousand Oaks, 7-6, 6-3, in the other semifinal Sunday.
