Honey, I Topped the Box Office: “Honey, I Blew Up the Kid” posted a narrow victory over “A League of Their Own” in its opening weekend with an estimated $11.5 million at 2,311 screens Friday-through-Sunday, according to industry sources. The Disney release, starring Rick Moranis as a scientist with a 60-foot baby boy, had been expected to dominate the weekend, but “League” was a strong second with $9.5 million at 2,084 screens in its third weekend.
