General Interest?

Some time ago I wrote the Food Section to ask if you could obtain a certain veal recipe from a local restaurant. I received a form letter in reply, saying you could print only recipes “of more general interest.”
We have recently been bombarded with whole articles in the Food Section regaling all sorts of almost unheard of ethnic goodies, the ingredients of which are strange and almost impossible to find.
Who are you folks kidding? Of more general interest? Puhleez!
I’m going to join my many friends who tell me they haven’t bothered to read The Times’ Food Section in months.
