3 Plead Not Guilty in Gang Rape

Three men pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of raping three teen-age girls in Southcrest Park on June 12.
Each is charged with three counts of rape.
Superior Court Judge Laura P. Hammes set a trial date of Sept. 14 for Kevin Ray McKee, 19, Doran Maurice Johnson, 19, and Marquis Davis, 29.
Investigators said the girls--ages 13, 14 and 15--had been socializing with the men before they were chased and attacked. Each girl was attacked while her friends were held back.
McKee is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail. Johnson and Davis remain in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail each.
