Babies, AIDS and Bakshi

Let me see if I have this right. We’re trying to deal with problems as serious as teen pregnancy, AIDS and the decline of the traditional family.
So this guy Ralph Bakshi recycles one of his (X-rated) movie concepts and makes a film where everything--plot line, characterization, the powerful visual imagery of animation--screams sexual fantasy (“For Animator Ralph Bakshi, the World Is a Very Cool Place,” July 6; “ ‘Cool World’ Flirts With the Erotic,” July 11).
Then, we rate it PG-13, advertise it all over town, pay $6.50 per and take our kids to see it. Did I miss something?
