George Bush and Iraq

I am writing regarding the article “No Retreat for U.N.” (July 23). What is the U.N. waiting for? Since when does the losing side make the rules. The war has been over for more than a year and they still haven’t removed Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction.
Your article tries to blame the Reagan/Bush Administration for arming Iraq. At the time we were selling arms to Iraq, we were having a little trouble with its neighbor Iran. I always thought we should sell weapons to both sides and let them kill each other.
Well, George, if you want to stand a chance of reelection in November, give the military a road map to Baghdad and get rid of this moron once and for all.
