Regency Health Services Inc.: The Newport Beach operator of health-care facilities had a profit of $3.2 million, or 90 cents a share, for the fiscal year ended June 30. For the previous year, net income totaled $1.8 million, or 63 cents a share, including an extraordinary gain of $762,000. Revenue showed a 43% increase, to $81.4 million from $56.8 million. A majority of the gain resulted from the acquisition of 10 facilities last year, the company said. For the fourth quarter, net income was $1.3 million, or 30 cents a share, on revenue of $25.7 million. For the year-earlier period, the company reported net income of $582,000, or 20 cents a share, on revenue of $14.3 million.
