Mike McCallum’s attorney has filed a protest with the International Boxing Federation over the middleweight’s 12-round loss to James Toney in their title fight last Saturday night.
Milton Chwasky said IBF President Robert Lee has agreed to review a tape of the fight, based on a variation in the scoring. Two of three judges scored the bout 118-110 in favor of Toney and the third scored it a draw.
