OUTLOOK
The Pioneers struggled last year but return enough talent this season to be a contender for the league title. As usual, the line is rock solid, and Brennan is back at quarterback. But Howell said the team lacks depth and is looking for a proven a steady running back. “We’re looking for a good turnaround from last year, and we have a good nucleus,” Howell said. “We should fight for a playoff position.”
