Driver Pleads Innocent to Hit-and-Run Charge

A 24-year-old man pleaded innocent Tuesday in the hit-and-run death of a woman cyclist.
San Diego Superior Court Judge Frederic Link set a Nov. 9 trial for Anthony Davis Fusco, who is charged with hit-and-run vehicular manslaughter and driving on a suspended license.
Carolyn McGregor, 34, was struck by a pickup truck May 23 while crossing the intersection of Soledad Mountain Road and Beryl Street. McGregor, who was not wearing a helmet, died of severe head injuries.
