Gary A. Hammond has been named vice president and manager of ARCS Mortgage Inc.’s new Southwest wholesale and correspondent lending divisions, based in Phoenix.
Hammond previously was an assistant director of the Resolution Trust Corp., the federal agency in charge of disposing of failed thrifts’ assets. ARCS Mortgage, based in Calabasas, is a 54-office mortgage lending unit of the Bank of New York.
