Bristol-Myers to Sell Its Household Products Unit: In a move that will bring such household names as Windex and Drano into the same corporate stable as Pledge, Glade and Off!, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. of New York has agreed to sell its household products business to S.C. Johnson Wax for $1.15 billion. The cash deal will place Bristol-Myers’ Drackett & Co. subsidiary in the hands of Racine, Wis.-based Johnson. The deal has been approved by the directors of both companies and faces regulatory review.
