WHERE’S THE GAP? The “Year of the Woman” is this year’s political catch phrase, but in Orange County, there’s virtually no gender gap in the U.S. Senate races between two Republican men and two Democratic women. . . . A Times poll shows Bruce Herschensohn 11 points ahead of Barbara Boxer and getting about half the men’s and women’s votes. John Seymour barely trails Dianne Feinstein, 45% to 44% and they’re dead even among women voters.
No Gender Gap
Orange County women show almost no difference from men in support of California’s U.S. Senate candidates.
