TROPHY HUNTERS: Several thousand eager fishermen are expected to hit Irvine Lake the next few days: Today is the traditional fall rainbow trout grand opening. . . . The lake has been stocked this week with 8 tons of Northern California trout. Not just babies either. Says lake manager Steve Miller: “We’ve put in trout up to 16 pounds; we’re talking real trophy fish.”
