Pollution Research Wins Czechoslovakia Contract

Glendale-based Pollution Research & Control Corp. has been awarded a $400,000 contract to install air pollution monitoring systems in Czechoslovakia, the company said. President Albert Gosselin Jr. said the job will be the company’s first in Eastern Europe, an area where Pollution Control hopes to expand.
Environmentalists have said that under Communist rule, environmental concerns were neglected in the Eastern Bloc.
