Authorities on Wednesday released the identity of a Lancaster man who was fatally shot after an argument with his roommate.
Los Angeles County coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said the man, Mark Hayes, 45, died Tuesday at Antelope Valley Hospital.
Hayes’ roommate, Stanley Gordon, 49, was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the shooting, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said. After the argument, Gordon allegedly shot Hayes three times inside a trailer behind the house they shared in the 47000 block of 92nd Street West.
