UCLA Women Lose; Williams Has 30

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Natalie Williams wasted no time making an impact on the basketball court Tuesday, but it wasn’t quite enough for UCLA.
The Bruins lost, 91-80, to No. 23-ranked Ohio State despite 30 points and 12 rebounds from Williams, who was playing in her first regular-season basketball game after placing second with UCLA in the NCAA volleyball tournament.
Tuesday, the Bruins (1-5) began with a 6-0 lead, but the Buckeyes (6-0) led, 41-30, at halftime.
