ABC ‘Home’-less?: ABC says “no comment,” but the network reportedly will padlock the “Home” show in April. The show premiered in January, 1988, as a taped “how-to” crafts show, and evolved into its present live talk-show format in July, 1991, with Gary Collins and Sarah Purcell hosting. Word is that Shirley Solomon, a Canadian talk-show host, is in line to take over the slot with a new program.
