Roger H. Drue has been named executive director of a new joint venture between Tarzana Regional Medical Center and Encino Hospital.
Drue, who has been chief executive of Tarzana Regional Medical Center since 1989, will assume his new duties Friday when the joint venture takes effect.
The venture is between Dallas-based American Medical Holdings Inc., which owns Tarzana Regional Medical Center, and Healthtrust Inc. of Nashville, Tenn., operator of Encino Hospital. The two hospitals are less than three miles from each other.
