Rexhall Industries Posts $322,000 3rd-Quarter Loss

Rexhall Industries Inc., a Santa Clarita motor-home maker that’s hurting from the weak economy, posted a $322,000 third-quarter loss, compared with net income of $166,000 a year earlier.

The loss in the three months that ended Sept. 30 came as Rexhall’s sales plunged 75% in the latest quarter to $1.91 million, compared to $7.67 million in the same period a year earlier.

For the first nine months of this year, Rexhall lost $447,000, compared with a year-earlier loss of $51,000, and its nine-month sales tumbled 64%, to $9.57 million from $21.5 million.
