Manual Arts 102, Los Angeles 71--The Toilers employed constant pressure-defense that resulted in poor shot selection and few offensive rebounds for Los Angeles in the semifinals of the Bell Invitational Tournament.
The Toilers outscored the Romans 27-13 in the fourth quarter. The Toilers’ defense forced Los Angeles to make several bad passes and gave the Romans trouble getting the ball inbounds.
