‘Hot Property’ Triggers a Mixture of Response

On the other side of the coin are the people like me, who do enjoy the “Hot Property” column and have since its inception.
I do not have any hero worship for celebrities, nor do I consider myself a tourist, being a resident since 1941. What do I know, I still read the comics.
If all of these featured people pay ridiculous prices for these local properties, at least they are spending it in our local economy and not in Aspen, Vermont or Switzerland. I like that and love reading about it. Los Angeles needs more of them and their property taxes.
