Pitchers Jaime Navarro of Milwaukee and Ken Hill of Montreal reached the $2-million salary level when they came to terms with their teams, but Oakland utility player Jerry Browne and Texas pitcher Kenny Rogers lost arbitration cases.
Three other players--Seattle shortstop Omar Vizquel, Oakland second baseman Lance Blankenship and New York Met outfielder Chico Walker--settled with their teams, avoiding arbitration.
