Writer’s Block

“SNEAKS ‘93” looked at the future with one eye shut. In virtually every case, the listing of films to come in 1993 ignored the storyteller (Jan. 24).
No one asks “SNEAKS” to promote writers. We ask only that the truth be told. Stories are written, and their one- or two-sentence descriptions as in “SNEAKS” are pitched to stars and directors, and later, when filmed, marketed to the public. Their writers should be named.
