Giving Advice: “Say it loud--I’m black and proud,” soul singer James Brown told a group of juvenile delinquents in a visit to the Youth Development Center in Augusta, Ga. “You can’t beat the system. Get an education and work hard, that’s the only way to do it,” said Brown. The Godfather of Soul also instructed the youngsters to pray every day. “When something really bad happens, you can always count on God,” he said.
