The ‘Amazing Technicolor’ Plug: Steven Pimlott, director of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” will appear on “The Young and the Restless” Tuesday to rehearse a song from “Joseph” with Danny Romalotti, the character played by Michael Damian. Both Danny and Damian are about to appear in the title role of “Joseph”--in the plot line of the CBS soap and at the Pantages Theatre, respectively. “Joseph” producer-composer Andrew Lloyd Webber originally agreed to go on the soap but withdrew several weeks ago because he “wasn’t comfortable being an actor,” said a spokesman.
