Cal Poly Pomona Wins Regional

LeeAnna Hiestand and Jennifer Harney each scored 13 points as the Cal Poly Pomona women’s basketball team defeated Portland State, 59-51, in the NCAA Division II West Regional final Saturday night at Pomona.
Mildred Conston added 12 points for Pomona, which improved its record to 27-2 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals against North Dakota State.
