King Tribute: On the eve of Sunday’s 25th anniversary of the slaying of Martin Luther King Jr., this morning’s “Today” devotes its first hour to a tribute. In an interview taped Thursday at the White House, President Clinton will discuss what King meant to him as a young man. Bryant Gumbel also interviews King’s killer, James Earl Ray, imprisoned for life at Nashville’s Riverhead Maximum Security Institution.
