PRE-EARTH: If you want to get an early start on Earth Day, which comes up April 22 (OC Live! Page 3), the Volunteer Center of Greater Orange County can offer you a paintbrush or a trash sack this Saturday. About 8,000 people in all 31 cities will be doing volunteer cleanup projects. . . . In Anaheim, it’s graffiti removal. In Dana Point, it’s beach cleanups. Villa Park: bush and tree planting. If any of that sounds like fun, the nonprofit center is at (714) 647-2600. Officials say they’ll try to assign you work in your hometown.
