In response to “Massive Show of Force Draws Praise and Jeers,” April 18:
I felt more threatened than protected. That type of show of force was an indictment of all blacks and Latinos. To threaten us with the U.S. military, National Guard, sheriff’s deputies and local police shows just how out of touch our government leaders are with citizens and how much respect they have for them.
