For those sunny “hot” locations in your garden, consider geraniums that bloom in pink, rose, scarlet and white through the summer and autumn.

Check to be sure mulch is 3 to 4 inches deep around plantings. Mulching also discourages weed growth. Keep mulch away from the stems of the plants.
