WEEKEND TV : Kentucky Derby, KCBS Specials on Tap

Three KCBS specials and the 119th running of the Kentucky Derby will highlight the weekend’s TV viewing choices.
ABC’s Derby coverage begins today at 1:30 p.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42. Post time at Churchill Downs in Louisville is 2:32 p.m.
On Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Channel 2, 25 youths take a nine-day journey to Singapore where they compare cultures in “The Ultimate Field Trip.”
At 4 p.m. Sunday, on Channel 2, Walter Cronkite is the host of “Every Breath You Take,” a medical update featuring new methods to cure nicotine addiction.
And, at 5 p.m., Sunday, KCBS presents “The 1993 Spotlight Awards,” showcasing young performers in music, song and dance.
President Clinton’s first 100 days will be analyzed on several public affairs shows, including CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Sunday at 9 a.m. (2), 9:30 a.m. (8), and NBC’s “Meet the Press,” with guest Vice President Gore, Sunday at 7 a.m. (4)(39), 8 a.m. (36).
