HIS BEST PITCH: Perseverance was the name of the ballgame for Cal State Northridge pitcher John Bushart. The junior left-hander overcame three errors by his teammates and a flare-up of tendinitis to pitch a complete game in the Matadors’ 11-10 victory over Hawaii in a Western Athletic Conference game (C14).
