$1 Million Gold, Gem Theft

NEW YORK — Robbers stole $1 million worth of gold and jewelry from a business in New York’s Diamond District, police said Sunday. A spokesman said one or more suspects entered through a rear window of the offices of the Ordan Corp. and smashed open two safes. Police had no further information.
