U.S. Intervention in Bosnia

It is hard to believe that Buchanan would seek to trivialize the ongoing holocaust in Bosnia by comparing it to the half-century-old upheavals following World War II. One could attempt to refute this nonsense by disputing his “facts” (the Sudeten Germans did not “go to graveyards, every one”), or his interpretation (the British intervened in World War I over Belgium, not Bosnia), but this seems unnecessary. A simple observation, as valid in 1993 as it was in 1939, suffices: All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
