WORLD IN BRIEF : CAMBODIA : U.N. Officials Told to Send Families Out

U.N. officials were ordered to send their families out of Cambodia because of worsening violence as legislative elections approach, U.N. sources said. The order affects relatives of people working for groups such as the U.N. Development Program and the World Food Program. The directive to leave by today did not include relatives of the 22,000 soldiers in the U.N. peacekeeping operation.
